About Dr. Jim MorrisDr. Morris earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Florida in 1996. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia where he focused on forensic psychology, behavioral medicine, and child and family therapy. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UVA in behavioral medicine, after which he joined the faculty of UVA, working at the Behavioral Medicine Center. He left UVA to work for Eckerd Youth Alternative, Inc., a large, national provider of services for troubled youth, where he worked for eight years and was the Director of Clinical Services.
Dr. Morris currently works in private practice and primarily focuses on providing forensic, therapeutic, and life-enhancement services. He is a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida, PY 5952, and a Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator, certification number 22006F.
